A truly wonderful moment in Patan Durbar Square
I was joined today by this gentle soul for a cup of tea this morning in Patan Durbar Square. She quietly sat with me at a small cafe and together we watched the world come to life. We laughed as two tiny kids scrambled up the steep steps of a nearby temple and she shook her head in amused disapproval as I gave a passing dog my biscuit and a pat on the head. She didn't speak English and my Nepali isn't good enough to ask her all the questions I would have loved to ask, but she was perfect company. It was a truly wonderful moment with someone so very special.
